The first and important advice to start a blog as long as you're passionate about it. Everyday thousands of blogs appears with the mission to form money online but many of them don’t get success because they're not passionate about it. Even when I started writing blogs i was 15 and then i took a break and after 4 years came back to this industry.

First of all you should know what is your niche or what kind of topic you are choosing for your blog or I can say that which topics most accurately fits you and what knowledge you'll share with People around the world

So, If I assume that you write blogs without giving a thought on monetizing it than it should be because of your love for writing. Correct me if I'm wrong, please :)

If that is the case, you'll check some blogging platforms like blogger or, my (free) favourite blogging/social network Medium and begin writing. If you feel like its a little bit too overwhelming - I say this because writing for the fun is nice and all, but some people are not made for it - you'll accept it because there was no investment. Other than that, you can actually get a WordPress.com: Create a free website or blog and have fun and go nuts. Blogging is always fun unless you copy your content from another blogs.

Starting a blog is fairly easy, maintaining with blogging, that's where things gets screwy.
So here are some of the tips you must follow :- 

1. Secure a domain name. Even you don't want to make money out of it or be famous. Securing a domain name is securing your digital brand.
2. Get a hosting company. self-hosted blogs are way better and provides security + freedom.
3. Start writing ideas for topics on your blog
4. Write a blog everyday.
5. This should be above, Use Only WordPress or Blogger.
6. You need to understand your audience or who are you writing for, what quite needs do these people have and the way are you able to meet them. 
7.  I would suggest you begin with a filter and focus sort of blog. Pick a subject and them find content from a few of influences, discuss this and draw your conclusion. This will give you credibility in the beginning.
8. For photos you'll always get free and stock photos from google or other websites like Flickr.
